NADA Detoxification Protocol

“Health means freedom from toxins and toxic damage.” H.H. Reckewey

The National Acupuncture Detoxification Association’s 5 point needle protocol to alleviate suffering and support recovery from addiction. Auricular acupuncture for addiction involves inserting filiform needles at specific points found in the ear and significantly assists with:

  • Craving
  • Withdrawal Symptoms
  • Relapse
  • Anxiety, Insomnia & Irritation

Our detoxification programs will also use ear seed therapy, thought field therapy (TFT) and body acupuncture for added effects.

Acupuncture assists aligning the brain and body to support a healthy lifestyle. Detoxification involves a re-education of the body and mind from the cellular level to the emotional level.

Our team will work to assist your process by providing guidance and techniques you can take home with you.

TFT

Thought Field Therapy (TFT) uses an understanding of meridian-based therapies and psychotherapeutic skills to treat a wide range of mind/body and clinical conditions such as anxiety disorders, phobias, traumatic stress, obsessive disorders, physical pain, addictions, sleep disorders, and many others.

Chinese medicine defines pain (whether it is emotional, physical, or spiritual) as a disruption of the body’s energetic system. Illness and pain of all kinds get lodged in the body due to the various emotional stresses brought about by lifestyle and/or societal pressures. When a person is unable to clear and release the negative effects of a traumatic experience or a set of conditions that occur in his or her life, the human energetic system becomes blocked, creating an energetic imbalance. The imbalance eventually affects the person’s quality of thinking, moods, behavior, and physical health.

The field of energy psychology allows one to identify and access the emotions and/or stress associated with the illness/pain. Through applying simple tapping techniques on the meridian pathways, the disruptive pattern is released.

A technique typically integrated into any of the therapy sessions when appropriate.

Meditation

“To a mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders.” Chuang Tzu

Meditation is a technique to develop a calm, centered and peaceful relationship with your mind. There are many forms of meditation and all are equally powerful. Some are active using mantra/mudra to keep the mind focused, specifically activating areas of the brain to produce an effect. Others are passive and involve internal visualization or concentration on the flow of the breath.

The benefits of meditation range from decreasing stress, aiding sleep, improving mental balance and assisting the healing process. Meditation creates a balance between the regulatory centers of the brain such as the pituitary gland/hypothalamus and the limbic (emotional/reactional) system. Meditation increases the space between how you receive a situation and how you react. As this space is trained and opened you are able to retain an innate peace and balance that would otherwise be governed by emotion and commotion.

Meditations can range from 3-62 minutes or indeed up to and over 10 hours a day depending on how much time one can spare. For our intents and purposes meditations will be oriented to cater to your schedule.

All meditation involves practice and patience and we shall offer guidance for your experience.
